Respiratory System Flashcards

Respiratory assessment is something nurses do constantly, so understanding how breathing actually works, from airway anatomy to gas exchange, pays off early. This deck covers the structures involved in breathing along with the mechanics of how air and oxygen move through the body.

Cards also cover lung volumes, control of breathing, and oxygen transport, along with core clinical concepts. Each term includes a clinical note on how the concept shows up in respiratory assessment, such as breath sounds or oxygen saturation.

Who this deck is for

Students in Anatomy & Physiology courses, and anyone reviewing respiratory terminology before the TEAS.
